The annual Strawberry Festival/Craft Bazaar is just around the corner.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - - The annual Strawberry Festival/Craft Bazaar is just around the corner. The festival will continue today at Jefferson Depot Village, 147 East Jefferson St. It is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tours of the village, strawberry shortcake, entertainment, rides, food, a quilt show and kids corner are activities to be featured. An antique car show is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m.

JEFFERSON DAYS - - Jefferson Days will be held June 24 and 25. The event, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, will feature a community yard sale and flea market. The celebration is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days and takes place at Village Park, South Market and East Jefferson streets. Vendor space is available by contacting the Chamber of Commerce.

CONCERT IN THE PARK - - “Remembering When” featuring John Fisher and Carol Hill will perform 6:30 p.m. June 30 in the gazebo on Route 46 and W. Jefferson Street. Concerts are free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

OX & PORK ROAST DINNER - - St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, 37 E. Jefferson St. will hold its annual ox and pork roast dinner 4 to 7 p.m. June 24. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Habitat for Humanity project.

ROUND & SQUARE DANCE - - Jefferson Days Round and Square Dance will be held 8 to 11 p.m. June 24 at Jefferson Grange, 50 S. Chestnut St. A cakewalk will be featured along with refreshments. Entertainment will be provided by “Encounters Band.” Admission is free.

ROAST BEEF/TURKEY DINNER - - St. Marys Parish, 103 Maple St. in Orwell will host a roast beef and turkey dinner 4 to 6:30 p.m. June 29 in the church hall. Carry-outs are available. The dinner is sponsored by Grand Valley Interfaith Services. Proceeds will assist the needy with high energy costs.

MUSIC FEST - - Cherry Valley United Methodist Church, 3353 Route 6 east, in Andover, will hold a Music Fest 2 to 8 p.m. July 2. The festival will feature Cross-Country Shoreliners of Ashtabula County, Melting Pot Orchestra, John Boston of Cleveland, Cherry Valley Area Choir and more. Music, food and games will be sponsored by Cherry Valley UMC. (If inclement weather, the event will be held indoors.) www.starbeacon.com
