Gail Cole, president of Cole Design Associates Inc. in High Point, has been elected president of the Carolinas Chapter of the International Interior Design Association for 2007-08.

“It’s an honor to be chosen by my peers to represent them in the Carolinas,” she said. “Leadership in this organization will give me the opportunity to work with a wide range of designers from not only in the Carolinas but across the nation to better the interior design industry.”

Cole founded her firm in 1989 and her clients include Hanesbrands, Liberty Property Trust and Triad Commercial Properties.
