Building in Groesbeck demolished to make room for construction of a new hospital
Construction crews demolished a building in Groesbeck Monday to make room for a new hospital.
Part of the old Limestone Medical Center, including emergency medical services came down.
Construction on a new $23 million, 60,000 square foot hospital begins next Monday.
Patients are being treated in another building, while crews spend the next year completing the new facility.
Limestone Medical Center is a critical access hospital and a level four trauma center.
