The grand prize winner, Jeff Jenkins of design firm Jeff Jenkins Design + Development in Alexandria, Virginia, created a space that encourages social interaction and supports the idea that the modern kitchen is the heart of the home.

Jenkins received a $50,000 cash prize plus a suite of Electrolux Icon appliances, valued at $25,000. His winning kitchen rendering will be brought to life in the Electrolux booth at K/BIS 2008, April 10-13 in Chicago, and featured in Interior Design’s July 2008 issue.
