Bathroom storage has evolved from over-the-toilet shelves to today’s sophisticated furniture pieces with pullout drawers and removable trays.
It’s a response to a common dilemma facing homeowners with new or newly remodeled bathrooms: How to provide bathroom storage without sacrificing style.

You might call Walt Watson a man of steel.
Not the superhero kind, though. Watson is an artist who works in steel, with a repertoire that includes furniture, lighting and countertops.
Watson is a third-generation metalworker who started as an industrial fabricator. Yearning to apply his talents to something more creative, Watson began crafting furniture, fixtures and art nearly 20 years ago. He and his wife, Nicole, opened a showroom in New York City in 1987. His singular style caught on, and soon his work was featured in magazines such as Home and Romantic Homes. (more…)
In ways our foremothers never envisioned, the definition of “quilt” is being stretched to the limits of artistic imagination.
Quilting can encompass a bowl, a bag or a jacket — something to hang on the wall or drape on a bed. It can be computer-designed, festooned with beads and stitched, without shame, by machine.
But no matter how you cut it, a quilt still needs a cohesive vision to hang together.
