Trump’s furniture will be at home in your uptown penthouse or country estate, but the line from the iconic magazine is most likely to fill your suburban great room. A few pieces in the Smithsonian line were surprisingly current, even though they’re based on historic artifacts.
Celebrity endorsements have been important to the furniture industry for more than a decade. The industry said the three lines helped push the trend to a new high at this market.

Experienced in developing new products to meet target market and customer needs, Wenke was previously director of marketing for two divisions with tabletop and flatware leader, Oneida Ltd. While there, he significantly increased Oneida brand awareness and sales through the development of new collections for various suppliers and retailers. UNCONVENTIONAL architect Jean mic Perrine has come up with an audacious new idea – ready made, stackable, expandable pod homes.
The sign in the lobby says Perrine Architecture, Level 1. Step out of the lift and it’s not clear where to go next. Directly opposite is a trendy office furniture showroom and to the left, down the corridor is a simple, frosted glass door devoid of any clue as to what is behind it. Try the door and you find a typically stylish, minimalistic architects’ studio. The lack of signage is not a yet to be done job. (more…)
