Converting an old barn into a home seemed like a lofty idea to his co-workers, but Junior Baker didn’t listen.
For 30 years, he had the design all figured out even down to the circular driveway where he’d park his pick-up and the stone wall out front.
“It’s just something I always wanted to do,” said Baker, 54. “I had it in my head. There was no looking in magazines or any of that stuff.”
No blueprints or rough sketches – just an idea and a man willing to work to attain it.
